About AUR. Amity University, Rajasthan (AUR) is a private university founded under the Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur Act in the capital city of Rajasthan. It is a part of the Amity Group, a frontrunner of private educational institutions in India. AUR was set up by the non-profit organization Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF), an umbrella organization for all Amity Institutions, established in 1986.

It offers a variety of courses in diverse fields such as management, engineering, biotechnology, law, communication, insurance, nanotechnology, behavioral science amongst others. Each of these courses is specifically customized to provide industry oriented education. The University aims at training students to become successful leaders in their respective fields.

The Vice Chancellor of AUR is the Former Director of the reputed Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi.

Facilities

The 152 acre hi-tech residential AUR campus is located on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway. AUR aims to provide “integrated education” and thus focuses on the all round development of students, offering numerous sports facilities including golf and riding. It also offers value-addition courses, together with foreign language requirements. Their teaching methods are modeled on Ivy League Universities of the US.
