Formerly known as the Bihar University, BU, a public university is located in the district of Muzaffarpur in north Bihar. Established in 1960, the University was renamed as B.R Ambedkar Bihar University in the year 1992, and has 37 colleges affiliated under it. Several correspondence education courses are offered by the Institute that also conducts seminars, workshops and symposia. BRABU is one of the most premier institutions of learning and teaching in the state of Bihar. The university is fully recognized by the Grants Commission with effect from its establishment, and is also funded by the same. BRABU is an active member of the Association of Indian Universities.

I want to do my further qualification in civil engineering (Distance mode). I have completed 3 years full time apprenticeship course in Larsen & Toubro LTD, Powai, Mumbai as a trade Millwright Maintenance Mechanic. then I have passed NCVT exam in year 2003, Now I am working in gulf country since 5 years in Freyssinet international for post tensionsioning of bridges & Silos structure as Senior Site Supervisor.
