Baba Farid University of Health Sciences

About BFUHS. Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), one of the finest medical institutions in India, was established in July 1998 by an Act of the State Legislature of Punjab.

BFUHS has a total of 87 colleges affiliated to it that include 7 Medical colleges, 11 Dental colleges, 11 Ayurvedic colleges, 40 Nursing institutions, 9 Physiotherapy institutions, 4 Homoeopathic colleges, 1 Sports Medicine and 4 Medical Laboratories. All of these have a common goal of providing first-rate medical education to the students.

Besides these affiliated colleges and institutions, BFUHS has six faculties. These are:
