About CEPT University. The Government of Gujarat aided The Ahemdabad Education Society (non-profit organization) to establish CEPT as a separate institution. CEPT -Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology is an esteemed university offering undergraduate and post graduate degree programs in Natural and Built Environment. The aim of CEPT University is to impart higher education in technology and developmental sciences to students. Their study programs are tailored in a way to inculcate education in all the spheres of human life including sciences, development, emotions, and aestheticism. CEPT building constitutes School of Building Science & Technology and School of Interior Design The campus is situated near Gujarat State University in Navrangpura area of Ahemdabad.

Last but not least, CEPT University also offers various study course programs in Geomatics which include:

  • Part time Diploma program in Geomatics
  • Part time Advance Diploma in Geomatics
  • Part time masters program in Geomatics
  • Full Time Masters program in Geomatics

CEPT University began its doctoral programs in 2005 in the following disciplines:Design, Technology, Architecture, Management, Planning, Public Policy, Social Sciences, and Humanities.

Facilities

CEPT University has one of the best Libraries that a University can hold with all modern tools and educational assistance. There are approximately 30,000 books in it along with technical video tapes, DVD collection, and journals. Students have access to 99 periodicals and journals of Indian and foreign origin which helps in updating students latest development in the technology and development. Library dealings are conducted for about fourteen hours a day. It is completely computerized and assisted with modern techniques. CEPT conducts workshops for textiles, photography, structural planning, and the furniture workshops.
