Chandra Shekhar Azad University’s three faculties: Agriculture; Home Science and; Agriculture Engineering and Technology offer a variety of graduate and post graduate programmes like B. Tech. (Ag. Engg); MBA (Agri-business Mngt.); B.Sc. (Horticulture) and; courses in fields like Child & Human Development and Clothing and Textile. The Faculty of Agriculture also offers Ph. D in 13 disciplines.

Facilities:
The university in its two campuses at Kanpur and Etawah has 8 hostels for boys and 2 for girls. Alongside, 19 messes are run to provide food for the students. All students with good academic record who are below poverty line are considered for financial aid. The university also provides medical facilities, organises various sports and cultural events. It also has a well stocked library and Agriculture Research Information System (ARIS)- the multipurpose electronic cell.

Since its humble inception in 1893 as a small school for revenue officers, Chandra Shekhar Azad University is proud to hold it’s domes today as a premier Indian institution. With our mission to enhance agriculture and allied sciences in India, we seek to educate the youth with best of our resources and abilities.

The faculty of Agriculture or Krishi Mahavidyalaya with its 17 departments like Crop Physiology; Agronomy and Plant Pathology focuses on an essentially scientific perspective bent towards practically useful approaches. The guidance of the best minds and the latest laboratory facilities help the students gain knowledge. Spread over 235 thousand square meters the campus holds an annual enrollment of about 270 students.

The faculty of Home Sciences or Maharani Avanti Bai College of Home Sciences is working to impart this often neglected stream of education in the state of UP and the rest of the country. We seek to educate our students in not only the matters of food and nutrition but courses like Extension Education and Communication Management. An important part of our institution, this college has grown from a few rooms of classes to an independent college.

The faculty of Agriculture Engineering and Technology or Dr. B.R.A.College at our Etawah campus admits students in the B. Tech. degree programmes through UPSEAT merit list to ensure the high standards we have set for our university. And the fruits of the labour show in the final year where about 90% of our students succeed with flying colours in tests like JRF and GATE. We also have a training placement cell for the students in government centres and illustrious private firms.
