Facilities
There are a great number of facilities provided to the students of this University. There is a faculty club, a staff sector, campus school and guest houses. The students also get chances to talk with the international bodies for placements and career progression. It also has a 50 bed hospital for the benefit of the residents of Haryana. There is also a school within the campus area. Other great amenities present in this place are the Nehru Library and the Indira Gandhi Auditorium. The University also has a computer centre established in 1979. It is set up in the premises of College of Basic Sciences and Humanities only covering an area of approximately 10,000 square feet.

About Choudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University
Established in 1966, this University was initially with the Punjab division. It became an autonomous land institute in this year only. It is famous internationally for the progresses it has made in the technology of growing cotton and grain varieties. It has also become reputed for its beautiful campus. The University has an amazing infrastructure of laboratories and additional amenities. It is more commonly known as Haryana Agricultural University or HAU and is positioned at Hissar. The University is extending over a distance of 298 hectares. Every college building is well facilitated with amenities like computer facilities, auditoriums, lecture rooms, seminar rooms and lecture rooms equipped with audio visual facilities. It is also carrying out research in various crop varieties to develop their pest resistant yields.
