Delft University of Technology, founded in 1842, in one of the world best universities in the filed of technology. It is located in Delft, Netherlands with over 14,000 students. To support the intensive research projects, the university operates seven research institutes: Delft Institute for Information technology in Systems Engineering, Delft Institute of Microelectronics and Submicron Technology, International Research Centre for Telecommunications-transmission and Radar, Kavli Institute of Nanoscience, Netherlands Institute of Metals Research, Reactor Institute Delft, and The Research Institute for Housing, Urban and Mobility Studies.

Academic Program

Delft University of Technology comprises eight faculties:

  1. Faculty of Mechanical, Maritime and Material Engineering, which offers programs in the areas of Marine Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Systems & Control, Biomedical Engineering, Offshore Engineering, and Materials Science & Technology.
  2. Faculty of Architectural, which offers programs in the areas of Architecture, Urbanism, Building Sciences and Technology, Real Estate & Housing, and others.
  3. Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences, which offers programs in the areas of Applied Earth Sciences, Civil Engineering, Coastal and Marine Engineering and Management, Construction Management and Engineering, Minerals and Environmental, Geomatics, Offshore Engineering, and Transport, Infrastructure & Logistics.
  4. Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science, which offers programs in the areas of Applied Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Embedded System, and Media and Knowledge Engineering.
  5. Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering, which offers programs in areas of Engineering, Ergonomics, Design, Marketing and Consumer Behavior, Automotive, Integrated Product Design, Strategic Product Design, Design for Interaction, and Sustainability.
  6. Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, which offers programs in the areas of Geomatics, Aerospace Engineering, and Space-tech.
  7. Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management, which offers programs in the areas of Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis & Management, Management of Technology, Engineering and Policy Analysis, Transport, Infrastructure & Logistics, and Geomatics.
  8. Faculty of Applied Sciences, which offers programs in the areas of Life Science & Technology, Molecular Science & Technology, Technische Natuurkunde, Biochemical Engineering, Applied Physics, Science Education and Communication, Nanoscience, Sustainable Energy Technology, Bioprocess Engineering, BioProduct Design, and Process & Equipment Design.

Undergraduate programs are available for B.Sc. degrees in the following areas of study: Aerospace Engineering, Applied Earth Science, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design Engineering, Life Science & Technology, Marine Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Molecular Science & Technology, Systems Engineering, and Policy Analysis and Management. The graduate programs are available for M.Sc. degrees in the following areas of study: Aerospace Engineering, Applied Sciences, Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geosciences, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science, Industrial Ecology, Industrial Design Engineering, Mechanical, Maritime and Materials Engineering, and Technology, Policy, and Management. There are also other postgraduate programs for PhD degrees, Traineeships engineering design, management and innovation, research and development, city developer, European postgraduate Master in Urbanism, and E-archidoct Virtual Campus for Post master Studies in Architecture.
