Facilities – Dibrugarh University provides hostel accommodation to the deserving students. Accommodation facilities are provided to both the boys and girls. Apart from this, the institute provides sports and library facilities to the inmates as well.

About DU:
Dibrugarh University, also known as the “Easternmost University of India” was established in the year 1965 in Assam. The institute is the nearest one to the Kaziranga National Park (famous for the one-horned rhinoceros), The Namdapha National Sanctuary and the Dibru-Saikhowa Rain Forest. Although the university is fully recognized by the Grants Commission with effect from its establishment, it is however not funded by the same. A member of the Association of Indian Universities, DU is scattered over the seven districts through its varrious departments and affiliated colleges and is imparting higher education in the various branches of learning in Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medical, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Law, Science & Technology, Computer Science and Teachers’ Training.

With its 17 departments and 3 centers, DU received financial assistance from the Department of Electronics (DoE), Govt of India. Since 1998, the University has introduced three one year DoE courses, Maintenance of Electronics Equipment, DOEACC ‘O’ Level and Repair and Maintenance of P.C. hardware and Repair.
