This educational institute also gives guidance for Ph.D program in various fields to its students.

Facilities:

The campus of this institute is spread in 135-acre of land and has fully equipped classrooms, seminar and conference rooms, Management Center for Human Values, residential quarters for students, faculty and staff members, library, an executive training complex, a bank and a post office. The institute has a state-of-the-art Auditorium with a sitting arrangement for 750 seats.

The institute gives its students with well-equipped resource and applications. Apart form that the campus has wide LAN encompasses 1000 nodes/workstations. LAN connectivity is available in each room in the students’ hostels to access internet for 24-hour access. The institute also has a Library which was established in March 1962 named as B C Roy Memorial Library. The main aim behind the concept of library is to meet the needs and requirements of the institute’s academic programs. Recognized as the Asia’s biggest management library, it consists of over 1.6 lakhs of books and other documents including pamphlets, reports, working papers and monographs.

About IIMC:

The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) was established in November in 1961 and is the first national institute for Post-Graduate studies and Research in Management by the Government of India. The institute was established in collaboration with Alfred P. Sloan School of Management (MIT), the Government of West Bengal, The Ford Foundation, and Indian industry.
