Facilities
|The University of Jamia is offering a lot of facilities to the students in the field of sports. The students can take part in many activities like cricket, Badminton, foot-ball, hockey, basketball, boxing, table-tennis, athletics and hockey. For ensuring that these games take place in the right way, each and every game club is chaired by a teacher of the university. The university also has a sports committee led by a senior professor of the university. The university is also offering National cadet core (NCC) and National service scheme (NSS) services to the students. The university has also opened by a guest house by the name of Nehru House. It has 31 rooms apart from a large committee room and a dining lobby.

About Jamia Milia Islamia:
The University of Jamia was made the central Indian university by a special Parliament Act passed in December 1988.
This University offers an amazing number of educational facilities to the students. Apart from the six main learning courses, there are additional centres for learning here which are Academy of Third World Studies and the Mass Communication Research Centre. Prof. Mushirul Hasan is the current vice chancellor of Jamia Milia University.

The university is also offering admission to the foreign students who can get themselves enrolled in its different courses.   The foundation stone for this university was laid by Maulana Mehmud Hasan on 29 October 1920 at Aligarh. Hakim Ajmal Khan was the first chancellor of this university.
