Educational Programs
The Kerala Agricultural University offers a firm academic foundation as well as training in systematic experimentation with eth assistance of its various graduates as well as post graduates programmes. The graduate programmes are seven in number such as Agricultural Engineering plus Technology, Veterinary along with Animal Sciences, Fisheries, Cooperation and Banking, Agriculture and forestry. The University offers nine post graduates programs in 43 disciplines including veterinary, horticulture, Agricultural statistics, Fisheries, Agricultural Engineering in addition to Technology, forestry among the various others. The doctoral programmes is offered by the university in Horticulture, Cooperation and Banking, Agriculture, Veterinary & Animal Sciences, which covers 23 disciplines in all.

Facilities
The University has been successful in its endeavor to establish the facilities which are required to excel in conducting qualitative research as well as training. These facilities include Radiotracer Laboratory, Dairy Plant, Electron Microscopy and Meat and Carcass Utilisation Plant. A Central Library comprising all the IT facilities plus hardware connects the national library with the libraries of the ten collages. The university has made serious attempt to keep in pace with the latest developments in the technology sector. An enormous Central auditorium positioned in the hub is full air conditioned and can accommodate up to 800 people is outfitted with a fine sound system.

Set up in 1971, the Kerela Agricultural University is the most important instrument of the state of Kerela to proffer human resources, skillfulness as well as technology which is one of the key factors to uphold the agriculture development.
