About NIMHANS:
A multidisciplinary institute, NIMHANS was established with the objective of providing quality academic training in the domain of patient care. And it was not before November 14, 1994, that the University Grants Commission (UGC) bestowed upon NIMHANS the status of a Deemed University. Now the institute is also a member of the AIU, and it functions as per the instruction of the Health and Family Welfare Minister, the Government of Karnataka. NIMHANS is all devoted to offer training in the field of Neuro Science.
