Northwood University

Northwood University, founded in 1959, is a private university located in Midland, Michigan, United States. There are however other three campuses in Cedar Hill (Texas), West Palm Beach (Florida), and Montreux (Switzerland). The one in Montreux is a joint program with Hotel Institute Montreux. The Michigan Campus houses around 2,000 students, while it is around 1,000 and 1,500 for Florida and Texas Campus. 

Academic Program

Northwood University has programs for undergraduates, postgraduates, online learning, international, accelerated programs, and dual degrees. Academic programs based on campus are as followed.

1. Michigan Campus. The campus has programs in Accounting, Advertising & Marketing, Aftermarket Management, Automotive Marketing, Banking & Finance, Computer Information Management, Economics, Management, Management Information System, International Business, Fashion Marketing and Management, Entrepreneurship, and Entertainment, Sport & Promotion Management. There also Accelerated Programs in BBA/MBA, Dual Major Programs, and Honour Programs.

Among the subject combinations for Dual Major Programs are Advertising & Marketing/Management, Aftermarket Management/Management, Automotive Marketing/Management, Banking & Finance/Management, Computer Information Management/Management, Economics/Management, Entertainment, Sport & Promotion Management/Management, Entrepreneurship/Management, Fashion Marketing & Management/Management, Hotel, Restaurant & Resort Management/Management, International Business/Management, Marketing/Management, and Management Information Systems/Management.

1. Florida Campus. The campus has programs in Accounting, Advertising & Marketing, Aftermarket Management, Automotive Marketing, Banking & Finance, Entrepreneurship, International Business, Management, and Entertainment, Sport & Promotion Management. The programs are for Bachelor Degrees and Dual Major Programs. The subjects for Dual Major Programs are about the same with those on Michigan Campus.
2. Texas Campus. The campus has programs in Accounting, Management, and Marketing for Bachelor Degrees.
3. DeVos Graduate School of Management in Montreux, Switzerland. The campus has program for Master in Business Administration which can be obtained through some alternative programs: Full-time, Evening, Executive MBA, Dealership Executive, and Aftermarket Executive programs. A full time program will take around 12 months to finish, while the evening program will be around 27 months.
4. Online Learning. The online learning is offered for the Degree in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). The subjects covered are Management, Automotive Marketing/Management, and Aftermarket Management.

Other programs in the university are Exchange Programs and Study Abroad Programs. There are some International Program Centres to support the two programs: Bahrain Institute of Hospitality and Retail (Bahrain), Jilin University – Lambton College (China), Jiangnan University – Lambton College (China), INTI College (Malaysia), American National College (Sri Lanka), Hotel Institute Montreux (Switzerland), Hotel Institute Montreux (MBA) (Switzerland), and Greenwich School of Management (United Kingdom).
