Facilities:
The University has in-house hostels, which is capable of accommodating 2000 male and 1500 female resident students. There are numerous playgrounds, a gymnasium and the university has been presented with Maulana Abul Kalam Award in 2005, in recognition of the excellent sport culture here. The University also has residential doctors and an in-house hospital. Apart from a well stocked library, covering various volumes of books, theses and reports, the university boasts of an ultramodern infrastructure with vibrant laboratories.

About:
The University is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities of India. With a history of almost 125 years, the Punjab University was established in Lahore, which is a part of Pakistan now. After the independence of India and the separation of India and Pakistan, it was shifted to Distt Hoshiarpur first and later to Chandigarh, where it now stands.

    Do you know anyone who has finished PhD chemistry and is looking for job ?

    If s/he teaches well, then I can get teaching job arranged. The benefits can vary from 15K per month till 75K per month.
