Facilities:
The University has in-house hostels, which is capable of accommodating 2000 male and 1500 female resident students. About:
The University is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities of India. With a history of almost 125 years, the Punjab University was established in Lahore, which is a part of Pakistan now. After the independence of India and the separation of India and Pakistan, it was shifted to Distt Hoshiarpur first and later to Chandigarh, where it now stands.
