Additional programs offered:
Personality development programmes (PDPs) and Career Guidance & Counseling Seminars & Activities is conducted by the college on the regular basis. The institute also offers industry-oriented summer/winter courses in collaboration with highly recognized professional organizations. Further the institute also provides with Language Clinic which gives faculty, students and staff the chance to develop their language skills. Apart from that, the college gives Soft Skill Training such as GD, PI, Aptitude, Communication etc to enhance the academic achievement.

Infrastructure:
Spacious and airy classroom, that is equipped with modern state-of-art equipments such as PA system, modern magnetic ceramic board and overhead projector. It also has separate tutorial rooms with the seating capacity of around thirty-five students to conduct special classes. Further it offers students with the latest edition of books in its Library section. The Central Computer Centre which has thirty-five computer systems enabled for the students to access Internet to study online and do net surfing. A separate project laboratory is also build for project, research and development works.

Apart from the above mentioned facilities the institute also provides students with First Aid facility within the campus and can also arrange for medical help from local hospitals whenever required. The institute offers hostel facility both for boys and girls. The allotment of rooms is on the first-come-first-served basis. Further, it has one of the best cafeterias with a seating capacity of 200 persons. Additionally, common room to play indoor games such as Table Tennis, Carom, Chess, etc.

A group of twenty-two great minded industrialists of Kolkata founded Kalyan Bharti Trust (KBT) to promote higher education in West Bengal which leads to the foundation of The Heritage Academy, Kolkata in 2007. The root cause for this established is to spread education and philanthropic zeal in the state.
